Thad stopped by Springfield for a visit so he guest stars in this episode of After Hours! We review Rifter #13, Palladium’s own magazine about their games. We also talk about headcanon, which is the idea of making your story behind a fictional story – like the cop wizards of Payday 2.
Behind the Scenes: Scenario Idea – Ritual of Battle
by
•I wrote this in December 2009 for reasons I don’t really remember. I know I was listening to the album of the same name, so that’s probably why I named it so. Anyway, maybe I could run this when Feng Shui 2 comes out?
Behind the Scenes: Eclipse Phase – Duality – starting exoplanet gear
by
•So in Duality, I had an idea for players to randomly roll their gear when they awoke on the exoplanet Minerva 4 without any memory of how they got there. Instead of making it a pure crapshoot, I allowed them to spend character points to get access to a better table of random gear. This is what I came up with. You can hear the results in Duality.

Our first piece of artwork has come in. This illustrated a particularly infamous moment from the one shot, Shanghaied: http://actualplay.roleplayingpublicradio.com/2015/01/systems/call-of-cthulhu/call-of-cthulhu-shanghaied/ I’ve cropped a wallpaper version at 1920 x 1080 for your convenience and have also attached the full high res version.
Thanks to Patsy McDowell for the art! http://residentmedieval.tumblr.com/
