When I was running the Heroes of New Arcadia campaign, I wrote a bunch of notes. Most (or all) of this material was posted to the RPPR forums but I figured a lot of you missed it the first time so I’m posting it all at once.
Yeah, I’m breaking up the campaign notes into multiple posts instead of ginormous post. Read all of it at once might be a little overwhelming for some backers. Anyway, you’ll get some insight into parts of the campaign the players never really touched on, plus my notes for what they did so I could keep track of everything.
One of our players for the Masks of Nyarlathotep campaign, Ann, took great notes. GREAT notes. 13 pages worth by the end of the campaign in fact. Here’s the first four pages – in low and high contrast versions.
This is a short story I wrote years ago. It could work as a scenario seed for Call of Cthulhu, Unknown Armies, or any modern horror game.
Another idea I wrote up years ago but did nothing with it. This is a continuation of the ideas I started with in Age of Masks.
More notes about Tribes of Tokyo. This covers the front organizations and the first session. If you’ve listened to the APs, then you can see that I didn’t follow everything in these notes and the players missed some plot lines. As always, feel free to ask questions, if you have any.
I wrote this in December 2009 for reasons I don’t really remember. I know I was listening to the album of the same name, so that’s probably why I named it so. Anyway, maybe I could run this when Feng Shui 2 comes out?
So in Duality, I had an idea for players to randomly roll their gear when they awoke on the exoplanet Minerva 4 without any memory of how they got there. Instead of making it a pure crapshoot, I allowed them to spend character points to get access to a better table of random gear. This is what I came up with. You can hear the results in Duality.
