Shaun and I watched The Room at the Alamo Drafthouse last year. It was his first time watching it. After it, we discussed the movie. What did Sahun think of the cult classic? It’s…complex.

I have been saving this podcast for a rainy day and since I am heading to Los Angeles for Patrecon (a conference for Patreon creators Nov 1 to 3) I am posting it now. We will still have a regular episode of After Hours this month and a new episode of Don’t Cross the Stream, but scheduling issues have kept me from recording them yet. When I get back, I will get them recorded and posted as soon as I can.

Don’t Cross the Stream: Blade 1 and 2

For our spooky October episode, we head back to the late 90s and early 2000s for a double dose of Blade, the vampire hunter. Wesley Snipes looked very cool in his sunglasses and leather trench coat as he murdered the World of Darkness, one bloodsucker at a time. Birk, Richard, and newcomer Kat from Best Pal Brigade joins us as we figure out what kind of fun games we can make from the first cool superhero movies.

After Hours: The Were-Predator

Aaron, Tom, and I recently saw The Predator, the latest flick in the venerable sci-fi franchise. It was a hot mess, to put it lightly. So, how else can we improve it? Add another hot mess, of course! Each of us took some elements from Synnibarr, the classic fantasy heartbreaker RPG.

I also review Edge-On, an adventure anthology for the Cyberspace RPG. It’s weird.
