I’ve been running a Heart the City Beneath campaign for Tom, Aaron, David, and Thad. We made characters together, as recommended by the book. Tomorrow, episode 1 goes up on Early Access, but you can learn about our four intrepid delvers with this bonus actual play.
I wrote a scenario called the Drove for the Delta Green 2021 Shotgun Scenario Contest. You can read my entry here. I ran it for RPPR and I will post the actual play of it this month.
The set piece of the scenario involves a horrific monster trapped in an underground labyrinth beneath a pig farm. Patsy illustrated the map and monster.
Castle Greyhawk (module WG7) might be the worst official D&D module of all time. A massive dungeon of 12 levels, each written by a different author, sounds like a great hack and slash module, but Castle Greyhawk has a twist. It’s supposed to be…funny. Puns, pop culture references and other ‘jokes’ populate the pages of this adventure.
Caleb, Rob, and I read the first two chapters to see what this infamous module had to offer. It’s fart-powered rocket monsters, adversarial GMing, and a NPC reaction table you won’t believe. Dare you brave the halls of Castle Greyhawk?
