After Hours: Miscibility Startup

What would a startup company look like in a D&D type world? There’s lots of gold just waiting to be invested (dragons and retired adventurers gotta do something those massive treasure hoards). Well, obviously it would involve innovations in potions and other magical items. Perhaps like Juicero, but for potions? Aaron, Dan, Shaun, Tom, and I discuss our ideas for magical startup companies and review the following:

  • Pegasus magazine issue 5
  • Magebird Quest from Judge’s Guild
  • Time and Time Again

We also reference Hot Takes on Ice from the Mixed Six and this video analysis of a Juicero machine.

New Milestone: RPPR Classic Campaigns

I know a lot of you enjoy listening to our classic campaigns, but as RPPR Actual Play has grown, it has created some problems downloading older episodes. The RSS feed is limited to 500 episodes and we have over 600 episodes already available. Furthermore, finding a campaign and downloading it can be tedious and annoying.

I have figured out a solution to this problem. I can create mirror sites with just the episodes of a particular campaign. That generates a new and unique RSS feed that you can paste into a podcast app for a quick download.

I’ve created an example site for The Final Revelation, with its own RSS feed.

If we reach $2400 a month, I will create one new mirror site a month for our classic campaigns, starting with Know Evil.

If we reach the goal and I get all the campaigns mirrored, I’ll create a new milestone to replace it. We have 15 campaigns left to mirror, so that will take a while.

Thanks for supporting the RPPR Patreon and I know we can do this!

If you haven’t joined the RPPR Patreon yet, we have lots of exclusive content and a great community on our Discord server.

Welcome to RPPR After Hours!

Hello! This website is a companion to the Role Playing Public Radio Patreon. Every month, we release new podcasts, artwork, and other content for the backers. This site indexes all of this content so it is easier to find for existing backers and allows potential backers to see what they’re missing. I have a more detailed description on the About page if you want to learn more about it.Otherwise, just browse and bookmark this site – it will be updated every time I update the Patreon (with the exception of Early Access posts, because they go to RPPR Actual Play the next day).

I made this site because in just over a year, I’ve made over 210 posts to the Patreon and I realized it may be hard or annoying to find certain content by scrolling through the page. This content is also invisible to search engines and potential backers can’t even see the show notes for our podcasts. Hopefully this makes the RPPR Patreon more accessible and useful. Please let me know if you have any questions or comments about the site.
