RPPR After Hours: Tempting Fate – The Immortal Storm and Failed Kickstarters

immortal

In this episode, we focus on a single D&D adventure called The Immortal Storm. This is a crazy fucking scenario, designed for godlike PCs. It involves messing with stars, traveling to a dimension of sheet music and 1986 Manhattan.

We also talk about screwed up and failed Kickstarters from Far West to the saga that is Ken Whitman.

  1. Great episode.

You see Caleb, oldschool D&D has a lot of serious creativity hidden in dusty Dungeon magazines and one off adventures when the authors decide to go gonzo and explore high concept outer planes stuff.

If you haven’t introduced the group to Planescape, they might like it Ross.

  2. Well, After Hours is more about bad and ridiculous RPGs than good ones, so it will be a while before we get to Planescape.

  3. Did a second-hand RPG company(Noble Knight, etc…) sponsor this one? Because, Immortal Storm= SOLD! I’m going to buy a copy right now.

Also, Planescape should never be on After Hours, because it is nowhere near bad.
